Here are some pictures from Halloween 2000. Not too much changed from
1999, so please see that year for the videos of my animated effects. The new
items were (as pictured below) the old chest with skulls, I put out the bride
and groom, and I put a box with a black light in front of the tombstones.

I also came up with this poem about the House of Specters, but I haven't used
it yet. Click here
to download my mp3 version of the poem.
- THE HOUSE OF SPECTERS
-
- Has the House of Specters caught your eye,
- Made you turn your head,
- Made you wonder why?
- That’s what they hope,
- That’s why they fly!
- The floating ghosts
- With their haunting cries.
-
- They’re trying to warn you of impending gloom,
- Of what has lead them to their doom.
- Oh curious mortal, don’t you see?
- They’re trying to show you,
- You must flee!
-
- The house is filled with souls that are lost.
- With people like you, who are curious lot.
-
- They ignored the signs and their good senses,
- They went into the yard with “BEWARE” signs on the fences.
- And there they found to their dismay,
- The witches who hoped they’d pass their way.
-
- The specters cry,
- They scream and shout,
- But some, like you, never turn about.
- Turn about and flee the place!
-
- And so they’re caught and can’t get out.
- ‘Cause every year, about this time
- The witches return, new spoils to find.
-
- Why do you come closer, ever closer?
- Why their warnings don’t you heed?
- You can continue if you will,
- And the House of Specters will be fuller still!
