Kit Version of our ST-425 Skull
This kit provides all the supplies necessary to build a ST-425 Talking Skull. You provide the labor and tools and save yourself some money!
Kit contians:
- 1 skull.
- 1 Just The Guts Kit (servo, servo mount, screws, wire ties, & piano wire)
- 1 ST-425 Scary Terry Audio Servo Driver board
- 1 stereo male-to-male 3.5mm audio cable
- 1 set of LED Eyes - Ultra Bright Red
- 1 9VDC power supply (only provided with units sold in the U.S.A.)
The circuit inside the skull allows you to easily hook up audio, through the 3.5mm (1/8") stereo jack, to the circuit board to drive a servo for animating the jaw of the skull. Easily create a prop with that highly sought after animatronics effect!
Operates off of a 9 to 12VDC supply (a 9VDC supply is provided). The unit can be driven by just about any MP3 player, Alexa device with an audio out jack, or computer. You can even go old school and use a CD player or tape deck (cassette player).
Switches on the Scary Terry Audio Servo Driver board allow you to choose which of the stereo channel the jaw will follow - the Left, Right, or both audio channels.
A free audio editor, called Audacity, can be downloaded from www.audacity.sourceforge.net allowing you to create your own custom audio tracks for the skull to follow. No programming necessary!

Functionality

Skull
I like the kit I bought, but it didn't come with the skull holes to mount everything pre drilled. So following along on the tutorial video is not incredibly possible for me. Took me longer than I care to admit that my skull want up to par, but if your paying over 100 dollars for a kit, its nice to have things ready to go. May alter review later, once everything is completly together.

Talking skull it meets my needs , I'm going to put it on ,a skeleton thats on a radio controlled kids tryke.
I like the product and the order service was fast and it arrived un damaged. I do recommend the scary Terry talking skull.

This product was the best!
I bought a talking skull from monster guts, paid 500 buck and could not get the darn thing to work for the life of me. Then I saw this and bought it, I set it up in 30 minutes. Have to find the training video, so from the information perspective, they can definitely improve. However, once you find the video, it is a slam dunk. If you are looking for a talking skull I definitely recommend this.
